Double Earring Tutorial

Materials

From your kit, take out four of the thicker small jump rings, the thinner chain, two ball post studs with their butterfly backs, and two premade double loop pearl attachments (see the tutorial linked below).

Take your pliers and thimble from the kit.

Step 1

Use your pliers to cut a piece of chain about six links long. You can adjust the length longer or shorter depending on long you want the earrings to hang.

Step 2

Your chain piece should now look like this.

Step 3

Take the small jump ring and open it using the pliers and thimble.

Step 4

Take your cut piece of chain and thread the end link onto the jump ring.

Step 5

On the same jump ring, attach one of the double loop pearls, then close the jump ring using your pliers and thimble.

Step 6

Open another small jump ring and attach it to the other end of the chain.

Step 7

On the same jump ring, attach one of the double loop pearls, then close the jump ring using your pliers and thimble.

Step 8

Your earring should now look like this.

Step 9

Open another small jump ring and attach it to one of the ball post studs.

Step 10

Attach the ball post stud with its jump ring to one of the double loop pearls and close the ring. Then open the last jump ring and attach it to the pearl on the other end.

Step 11

Attach the second ball post stud to the open jump ring and then close the ring.

Complete!

Your double earring is now complete! Follow this tutorial again to create a matching pair.
